Yamamoto Genryuusai

Yamamoto Genryuusai is the Captain of the 1st division, he is also in control of all the other captains. Little is known about him and the same goes for his vice captain.



Soi Fong

Soi Fong is the Captain of Squad 2 and has great pride in her Shinigami strength. She was trained by the mighty Yoruichi but for some reason Yoruichi left without Fong. This incident lead to Fong's anger at Yoruichi. Fong was determined to train hard so that she can beat Yoruichi some day


Ichimaru Gin

Ichimaru Gin seems to always have a scary smile on his face. This scary look makes him look very suspicious, almost as if he were planning something evil. Gin's eyes are never opened and most of the Captains despise him.


Unohana Retsu
Division #: 04
Rank: Captain


Unohana Retsu is in charge of the weakest squad of them all, the medical division. The squad is always laughed at and teased because they serve no fighting purpose, but rather only medical and clean up responsibilities. This is also that squad that Hanataro is in. There is not much known about Unohana, just that she is skilled in the mastery of healing.


Aizen Sousuke

A captain with a gentle heart, Aizen was murdered horribly while taking a walk. Although it is unknown on who murdered him or why, but it was suspected that Ichimaru Gin had done it. Aizen seemed well respected and very friendly with everyone.


Kuchiki Byakuya

Rank: Captain


Brother of Kuchiki Rukia, Byakuya seems to have no place in his hear for her. He has the ability to do Flash Steps which enables him to move extremely fast wherever he pleases. It was said that when Byakuya was little, he would play tag with Shihouin Yoruichi who was also known as God of Flash Yoruichi.



Komamura Sajin

Komamura Sajin is a very mysterious Shinigami with an unlucky fate. For he has a basket as a mask to hide the likes of his face. It was said he had an incident where he was burnt by fire and has the head of a fox. He owes a great debt of gratitude to Genryuusai Yamamoto because aware of his sickening look, Sajin was still accepted as a captain.



Kyouraku Shunsui

Kyouraku Shunsui is one of the most peaceful and relaxed captains you'll ever see. He doesn't like fighting but will fight if he has to. When he goes against Chad, Shunsui tries to talk it out over a cup of alcohol. Unfortunately, he realizes that it is a fight that Chad cannot back down, for Chad is not fighting for himself, but for a friend of Ichigo. Shunsui likes to tease his vice captain as if he liked her, but in return she would usually wack him back with a fan.



Tousen Kaname

As you've probably noticed, Tousen Kaname is a blind Shinigami. He falls in love with a Shinigami woman who believes in peace. One day, the woman that he loved was murdered by her husband who was also a Shinigami. Since that day, Kaname fights for peace and despises any evil. Although Kaname is blind, he has the ability to create a realm in which only he can see and others cannot.



Hitsugaya Toushirou is thought of as a boy genius because of his enrollment as a Captain at such an early age. Although Toushirou is very young compared to the other captains, he is very serious and tends to get things done. He is the first to suspect something going on with Ichimaru Gin and Aizen did.



Zaraki Kenpachi

Zaraki Kenpachi is the only one who didn't have to take the entry exam to become a Captain. Instead of taking the exam, he defeated the former captain of the 11th division. Kenpachi wears an eyepatch on his right eye because of his massive amount of spirit power, the eyepatch literally consumes his spirit power in order for him to seal his powers.



Kurotshuchi Mayuri
Division #: 12

Kurotshuchi Mayuri is a Shinigami that can modify his body during battle. He can have his arm extend, cut off, or even regenerate. Mayuri can also hide himself so that his enemies are unable to see him. He is in charge of the Research and Development Bureau, successor to Kisuke Urahara, and is considered a mad scientist. If you had failed a task that you were assigned by him, you'd probably be sacrificed or killed. Other them him being a mad scientist, he is also evil and cruel.



Ukitate Jyuushiro
Division #: 13
Rank: Captain


Ukitate Jyuushiro suffers from an unknown sickness, he is unable to fight for a long period of time and tends to cough a lot. Despite his sickness, he is strong enough to stop a blow from Byakuya Kuchiki. He's one of the nicest Shinigami you'll ever find and is the Captain of Rukia's division.
